For the fall of 2017, the HEEL is welcoming four new lab members. Lily McGill has joined the lab as part of the QERM program. She will be working with Gordon and Ashley Steel on network models of stream temperature and water isotopes. Mike Vlah successfully defended his Master’s thesis! He is now Master Mike, and Gordon has graduated his first waffle. Mike’s first chapter was recently published in Ecosystems (link). And…Mike (and Gordon) recently joined the Stream Pulse Project (link). Whew…
Megan Feddern has joined the lab as a new M.S. student. She will work on amino acid compound-specific isotope analysis.
The HEEL hosted an NSF INFEWs workshop Dec. 10-12, 2015 to explore the scientific nexus of Food, Energy, and Water in the Mekong.
Sydney has left us for grad school at Brown. Good luck Syd!
